Meet Our Pastor…

Matt Birch joined the GBC family as our Pastor in January 2023. He’s passionate about Jesus and has a deep desire to see people discipled to the point where they feel equiped to make disciples themselves.

Previous to his role here, Matt spent the previous 20+ years of ministry to the next generations serving in Children’s, Youth and Young Adults Ministries professionally in 4 different churches from Baptist, Churches of Christ and Independent Church families in Perth’s southern suburbs.

Matt has a beautiful wife named Sian and 4 wonderful kids of his own who love it here in Geraldton!
